Rhapsody of Realities Devotional 18th February 2021 Message – It’s In You

You are reading Today’s Rhapsody of Realities Devotional for Thursday 18th February 2021 Message written by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome to inspire and bless you. As you study may the good Lord bless you in Jesus’ name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: IT’S IN YOU

SCRIPTURE: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20)

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Some people blame God for every unfortunate event in their lives and in the world, and that’s as a result of their ignorance. God is all-powerful; yet, His power to produce the miracle you desire or require is inside you; you only need to put it to work.

Read our theme verse again carefully; it says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Whatever God will do in your life is to the extent of the operation of His power in you. Therefore, you really can’t, and shouldn’t hold Him accountable for all the happenings in your life.

He’s also not the one “delaying” the fulfilment of His Word in your life; you’re the one to activate the power in you. It makes no difference what you need; be it healing, increased finances, a new job, a child, growth and expansion in ministry, business or in your career, success in your academics, etc. the power to make it happen is inside you.

The Lord Jesus said in Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you….”
That power is the dynamic ability to effect changes, and the quickest way to activate it is speaking in other tongues.
1 Corinthians 14:4 says, “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself….” That means the one who speaks in other tongues energises or activates himself in the supernatural; he stirs up divine power from within. That power of God is also activated when you affirm His Word with boldness.

God and His Word are one. When you declare the Word concerning any situation, you’re invoking His power to bring about a change in that situation. Maintain the habit of meditating on the Word; contemplating and speaking it forth, and you’ll experience the release of the power of God in your life.

TODAY’S PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for your power that works in me mightily, to bring about the changes that I desire. Even now, I’m transformed by your glory, and your Word prevails in my life, causing me to reign and rule in righteousness and excellence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TOPIC: SPEAK WORDS FROM THE FATHER

SCRIPTURE: For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak (John 12:49).

Rhapsody of Realities 1st March 2021 Devotional Message
Have you ever wondered why some of the words you speak produce the wrong results? Perhaps you’re not speaking words from the Father. Jesus spoke the Father’s words. He knew exactly the right words to say in every situation, to everyone, and concerning everything. The secret is what He told us in our theme verse.

Imagine what transpired in Luke 7:11-17. He was on a journey to the city of Nain, and as He arrived at the gate of the city, He saw a funeral procession of a young man who was the only son of a widow. Moved with compassion, He touched the casket and said, “…Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother” (Luke 7:14-15). He raised the lifeless body of that young man back to life with words!

Over a raging tempest, the Bible says, “…he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm” (Mark 4:39). It made no difference how turbulent the weather was, Jesus hushed them with words. The words He spoke came from the Father. He said in John 12:50, “…whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”

We’re to have His kind of results, because the Father has given us words to speak. Don’t speak words that you learnt from the world; speak the Word of God. Get your language from the Word of God. That’s why you have to keep studying the Scriptures (2 Timothy 2:15). Think and talk like Jesus, and you’ll have His extraordinary results.

CONFESSION
Blessed be God! My words are divine, infused with power to change circumstances. The Father’s words dwell in me richly, and I speak them forth in wisdom. Hallelujah!
