#EndSARS: AY Comedian gets backlashes for insensitive post on Facebook

AY Comedian yesterday Monday got backslashes for posting an insensitive post about the #EndSARS protest going on nationwide.

According to post made on Instagram by Williams Uchemba, a popularly Nollywood actor and philanthropist who called on the attention of AY for such an insensitive post he made. But the renowned comedian denied making such a post which he said had gone viral within 18mins with 1800 comments. According to Williams, all comments on the VERY post are negative. While on the phone he called his manager, one Elvis who is actually managing the according and he confirmed he’s the one that posted the #EndSARS article.

#StopKillingPeacefulprotesters

I just saw a post on a certain blog from @aycomedian and I felt that he made an insensitive statement in such a time as this knowing the pain of the Nigerian youth so I called him to find out why he would make such a post only for him to tell me that he doesn’t know what I’m talking about and finding out that it was the person handling his Facebook page that made a statement without his consent. I know of several occasions when @aycomedian had encounters with the same SARS people and, I know if there is anything he wants, is to put an end to SARS completely. I don’t think it’s fare for the backlash when he didn’t even know anything about the post. Listen to the conversation.
