29 October 2020 Joel Osteen Daily Devotional Today written by Joel & Victoria Osteen
TODAY’S TOPIC: GLORIOUS THINGS
Today’s Scripture: Psalm 90:15–16, TLB
Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good. Let us see your miracles again; let our children see glorious things.
Today’s Word: 29 October 2020 Joel Osteen Daily Devotional
Psalm 90 is a prayer of Moses. Perhaps you can identify with his request in today’s Scripture. He was saying, “God, I’m having a tough time. I’ve had some bad breaks, but I’m asking for Your restored blessing.” When you face difficulties, do as Moses did and pray, “God, strengthen me again, heal me again, and show me Your favor again.”
Your situation may not look good. You may be facing something at your business, in a relationship, or have a health issue that you don’t think could ever work out. But God didn’t bring you this far to leave you. He can turn things around, bring a breakthrough, restore your health and happiness, and cause your business to take off.
Rise up in faith and say, “God, I’m not going to give up. I’m believing to see glorious things, miracles again, the dream come to pass, the problem resolved. I know that You always finish what You start.”
Prayer for Today – Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 29th October 2020 Thursday
“Father, thank You for being the God of miracles who does glorious things. Thank You for the assurance that the work You’ve started to do in my life will be brought to completion. I declare that I will not give up my trust in what You can do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Energize Your Life!
God has created you to be a victor, not a victim. Jump-start your day by celebrating the very best that God has for you! These daily inspirations will help you grow in your relationship with the Lord and equip you to be everything God intends you to be.

About Joel Osteen
Raised in Houston, Texas, with a loving family of seven and world-renowned parents in full-time ministry, Joel Osteen never imagined that he would follow so closely in his father’s footsteps. As a young man, his training and interests were behind the scenes in television production, though he was close to his father in ministry.
“There’s no greater feeling than being able to help people rise higher and overcome something and feel better about themselves. I think that we’re all made to help others, to lift people UP.” – JOEL OSTEEN
His father always encouraged him to preach, but Joel would politely decline time and time again until one day in October 1999 when his father was admitted to the hospital with kidney complications. Joel finally agreed to preach the next Sunday, and his father passed the following week. Joel’s first sermon was the last his father ever heard. Joel and his wife, Victoria, were suddenly thrust into full-time leadership of Lakewood Church.
