Benue Governorship Election: INEC declares inclusive again (Details)

BENUE GOES THE ‘INCONCLUSIVE’ ROUTE

INEC has declared Benue governorship election inconclusive. Announcing the verdict, Sabastine Maimako, INEC returning officer, said the “margin of lead is below that of cancelled votes, therefore, the election is hereby declared inconclusive”.

He put the total number of cancelled votes at 121,019 while the margin of lead between Ortom and Jime at 81,554 votes.

Samuel Ortom (PDP): 410,576

Emmanuel Jime (APC): 329,022
