Social media has been buzzing with mixed reactions after the story ofa man who returned N1m that was mistakenly transferred to his account.

Despite many reports of dubious people in the country, it appears there are still some honest-to-God kindhearted people as well.

One of which is this Nigerian man currently trending on the internet. Identified as Tobi Abikoye, he has since become the topic of discussion on the internet after he took to his Facebook page to reveal that he returned a whooping sum of N1m to its owner after it was mistakenly transferred to his account.

Sharing screenshots of his account balance before and after he returned the money, Abikoye was left with less than a thousand naira.

The fact that he was able to return the money despite being broke earned him applause on social media.

TRENDING: Football player, Saido Berahino is at the ­centre of a legal battle over claims he has fathered a hat-trick of children in less than two months.

The Sun reports that Stoke striker is named on birth certificates as the father of two babies — born on May 30 and July 17. His lawyers are in talks with another woman who claims he is dad of her tot born on July 15.

On the pitch, Berahino, 25, finally ended a 913-day scoring drought in Stoke’s 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Huddersfield in August. But he’s still fathered more kids than he has scored goals this season.

Mum No. 1 is ex-fiancee, Stephania, who gave birth to son, Costa, on May 30. Mum No. 2 is an African-born nurse, who gave birth to a girl on July 15. Mum No. 3 is Chelsea, who gave birth to, Aniya, on July 17.

Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan‘s daughter, Faith Edward and her hubby, Godswill, have welcomed a baby boy, which happens to be their second child together. The boy was named Faith after his mother, whose maiden name is Faith Sakwe.

And to celebrate, Faith’s husband shared a photo of the baby boy and said:

“My month of celebration, the womb is open and the blessing from God Almighty in full measures is upon my family. Here comes the Prince of the P7 dynasty, my own son. Please, my loved ones and well-wishers join me to welcome my Prince into the world of possibilities as the host of Heaven have followed him down to fulfill Destiny. Thank you Jesus my Lord, I remain grateful for your love towards my family, thanks to my ever loving wife for the blessing of my baby boy.”

The couple got married in 2014 and have a daughter, Eliana.
