England’s World Cup stars have taken to social media to celebrate reaching the quarter-finals.

The Three Lions held their nerve in their last-16 clash with Colombia as they won a nail-biting penalty shootout.

Eric Dier scored the decisive spot-kick after Jordan Pickford’s stunning save to deny Carlos Bacca as England won their first ever World Cup shootout.

They will now face Sweden in the quarter-finals on Saturday and have a real chance of glory in Russia this summer.

Gareth Southgate and his players celebrated wildly at the end of the shootout and the players were quick to take to social media in celebration.

Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard and Kyle Walker were among those to post on Twitter shortly after the final whistle in Moscow.
