Topic: Activate the Power (Kenneth Copeland 14 March 2018)

Key Verse: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. – Ephesians 3:20

Message: As a believer, you have the power of the Holy Spirit inside you. But that power won’t go to work until you put it to work!

The Holy Spirit won’t just muscle in on you. He won’t come in and turn down the television set and jerk you up off the couch and say, “Now you listen to Me.”

No, He’s a gentleman. He’s sent to help you to do the will of God, to strengthen you, to counsel you…but He won’t do a thing until He’s asked.

That’s why the book of James says if you’re in trouble or afflicted, pray. It’s prayer that puts the power within you to work.

Just think about that. The Spirit of Almighty God. The Spirit that hovered over the face of the deep and carried out God’s Word at Creation, that same Spirit is inside you—waiting for you to call on Him! Kenneth Copeland 14 March 2018

If Jesus came into your house and sat down at your table, you’d put aside everything to talk to Him, wouldn’t you? You wouldn’t just rush through and say, “Jesus, I’m so glad to see You. I wish I had the energy to talk to You, but You wouldn’t believe what kind of a day I had today. I mean, everything in the world went wrong and now I’m just too tired to do anything but lay here and watch TV. Maybe we can spend some time together later.”

You wouldn’t do that, would you? No! If Jesus were sitting there in your room where you could see Him, you’d fall on your face and begin to worship Him. You wouldn’t care how tired you were or what kind of day you had. You’d jump at the opportunity to fellowship with Him.

The Holy Ghost is in you. He’s waiting on you. He’s ready any time of the day or night. He’s saying, “I’m here to help you and strengthen you. I want to comfort you today. You know that problem you’ve been having? I want to help you get that out of your life.

Kenneth Copeland Daily Devotional March 10, 2018 – Watch Your Language

The Holy Spirit has some things He wants to show you—things you’ve been trying to figure out on your own. He’s waiting there with the power to overcome every obstacle in your life. Take time to pray. Pray in the spirit. Pray with understanding. Pray and activate the power that works within you today.

Seeds of Destiny 20 December 2018 – The Inverse Relationship Between Sin And Prayer written by Pastor Paul Enenche.

SEEDS OF DESTINY WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2018

SCRIPTURE: After this manner, therefore, pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Matthew 6:9-12.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you protect yourself from sin, you preserve your relationship with God.

The lifestyle of prayer and the life of sin are diametrically opposed, mutually exclusive, inversely proportional and absolutely antithetical to each other. That is why prayer cannot be effective in the life of a Christian who is living in sin. One of the major objectives of sin is the attack on a person’s relationship with God. The decision to sin is a decision against prayer and the decision to pray is a decision against sin. Seeds of Destiny 20 December 2018

Therefore, it is important that sin be dealt with first before prayer becomes effective.

Now, how does sin affect prayer life?
Prayer keeps people from sin and sin keeps people from praying. Those who pray more sin less and those who pray less sin more. The life of prayer and the life of sin are mutually exclusive and diametrically opposed; they do not exist together. The flow of prayer becomes a struggle when sin is involved.

Today’s Seeds of Destiny 20 December 2018 by Dr. Paul Enenche

Sin broke Adam’s relationship with his Creator. Adam was kicked out of the Garden on the platform of sin.

The greatest loss on earth is not the loss of money, job or a relationship but the loss of the relationship between man and his Maker; that is an eternal loss, if it is not recovered.

Beloved, when you protect yourself from sin, you preserve your relationship with God. It is your choice to keep yourself with God always. Shun every appearance of sin in your life; and if you have already fallen into sin, rise up, confess your sin, repent of your sin and sin no more. Decide to pray always in order to remain in God’s Presence.

REMEMBER THIS: When you protect yourself from sin, you preserve your relationship with God.

ASSIGNMENTS (Seeds of Destiny 20 December 2018):

1. Pray without ceasing
2. Distance yourself from every wrong relationship or association that may lead you into sin and hinder your prayer life.

PRAYER: O Lord, I ask that You keep me in Your Presence always. Keep me away from every hindrance and distraction, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

Memorize: A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. – Proverbs 17:8

If I could give you a gift this Christmas, the Word is what I’d give you. I’d rather give it to you than a check for a million dollars. Because you can run through a million dollars real quick, but the truth of God’s Word never quits—and it will get you out of situations a million dollars can’t get you out of. Kenneth Copeland 18 December 2018 Devotional

Ken and I are just ordinary people. But when we latched on to God’s Word, we latched on to something out of the ordinary, something that changed our lives. Every area of our lives.

Nothing that’s happened to us has happened because of us. It’s happened because of God’s Word. In fact, I don’t even have to know you to promise you this: If you’ll give God’s Word your full attention—and not be afraid of His will for your life—you’re going to be happier and more prosperous than anything you could ever dream up.

Today’s Kenneth Copeland 18 December 2018 Devotional – Extremely Blessed

Of course, if you do that, people may call you extreme. They say that about us all the time. But we don’t mind. We are extreme. And if you’ll set your faith on the Word of God, you can be extreme too. Extremely well. Extremely prosperous. And extremely blessed. Merry Christmas!
