Seeds of Destiny 25 February 2018 Daily Devotional by Dr Paul Enenche

TOPIC: The Necessity of Unction

SCRIPTURE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you need is not more toil but more Oil.

MESSAGE: Our anchor Scripture has established the fact that every major manifestation is a product of definite unction (anointing).

Our Master Jesus Christ only had fulfilment in His destiny and Ministry after an encounter with the Anointing at the water of Jordan during his baptism when the Heavens opened. The Holy Ghost descended bodily like a dove and He was imparted and empowered unto Ministry.

Seeds of Destiny 25 February 2018 Daily Devotional by Dr Paul Enenche – The Necessity of Unction

It is the Anointing that turns a wanderer like Moses into a wonder. The Anointing can bring you to a point where you become a wonder, not just to your generation but to yourself.

Beloved, what you need is not more toil but more Oil. Many people have had so much toil with little or no Oil so the struggle continues. It is not more titles but more mantles that make the difference. You may increase your titles without decreasing your battles but you cannot increase in mantle and not tackle your battles. What we need is not more decoration but more demonstration.

A person may think if he decorates himself with more titles, he might attract favour. A preacher may think that if he decorates the church more, it might attract more people. No! Where the unction is lacking, there will be decoration without demonstration, there will be decoration without results.

REMEMBER THIS: what you need is not more toil but more Oil.

ASSIGNMENT (S)
1. Make demands on the Anointing to rest on you.
2. Trust God to show you the secrets of the Anointing.

Billy Graham Daily Devotion 10 December 2018 – Steadfast Love

Memorize: Your steadfast love, O Lord, is as great as all the heavens . . .  —Psalm 36:5 (TLB)

Young people talk a lot about love. Most of their songs are about love. . . . “The supreme happiness of life,” Victor Hugo said long ago, “is the conviction that we are loved.” “Love is the first requirement for mental health,” declared Sigmund Freud. The Bible teaches that “God is love” and that God loves you. Billy Graham Daily Devotion 10 December 2018

To realize that is of paramount importance. Nothing else matters so much. And loving you, God has a wonderful plan for your life. Who else could plan and guide your life so well?

What is real love? Read Billy Graham’s answer.

Prayer for the day Billy Graham Daily Devotion 10 December 2018

In knowing I am loved by You, almighty God, my heart trusts You to guide me.

TOPIC: The Kingdom In Focus

TEXT: Romans 14:10-22

KEY VERSE: “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” – (Romans 14:17).

MESSAGEDCLM Daily Manna 10 December 2018 Devotional:

Have you got faith? “…Have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth” (Romans 14:22).

Martin Luther King Jr. once said ‘Never, never be afraid to do what is right, especially if the wellbeing of a person or animal is at stake; society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our souls when we look the other way’. The Christian church is uncompromising in its stand against all kinds of conduct opposed to scriptural standards.

Our text deals with issues that bother on the believer’s understanding of true Christlikeness, holiness, fruitfulness, doctrine and morals. This involves a sincere rebuking, correcting and evaluation of one another where necessary in love and humility and the exercise of church discipline on erring members and leaders.

DCLM Daily Manna 10 December 2018 Devotional – The Kingdom In Focus by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

Believers should refrain from judging one another. Christ our Lord is the One who has the right to judge. We must avoid anything that constitutes a stumbling block to fellow believers especially the weak ones. As believers, whether we are strong or weak, we must realise that true liberty does not lie in the exercise of that liberty if it will disrupt the peace of the body of Christ, knowing that the highest good is only attained in its use to edify the church.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Use not your liberty as a cloak of maliciousness.
