Today’s Seeds of Destiny 24 February 2018 Daily Devotional – Dr Paul Enenche

TOPIC: Exploits by the Anointing

SCRIPTURE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38. Seeds of Destiny 24 February 2018

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If the Anointing is on a tadpole, it can sink a shark.

MESSAGE: The Anointing of God is the secret of superhuman feats. It is the secret of exploits in life and destiny. That is why if the Anointing is upon a person, he can use a hammer to do the work of a bulldozer. The Anointing imparts supernatural energy and amplifies human efforts.

If the Anointing is on a tadpole, it can sink a shark. The Anointing guarantees supernatural strength, unbeatable mental prowess, and unusual physical stamina; it imparts brutal spiritual fervency for the frustration of the powers of darkness.

Our Master, Jesus Christ carried this Anointing; He stood for 72hours on His feet without getting tired. Kathrine Kuhlman carried it and worked beyond 18hours per day most of the time.

John Wesley carried it; he woke up every day by 4am and would work till 10pm in the night for about 60years of his life. In his life time, he covered a distance of about two hundred and ninety thousand miles on horseback. Seeds of Destiny 24 February 2018. That was like travelling round the globe twelve times.

When the Anointing came on Samson, he removed the gate of a city on his shoulder and climbed a mountain with it (Judges 16:3). Seeds of Destiny 24 February 2018

Beloved, when the Anointing is upon you, you do exploits heavier than your size, talent and energy.

I declare that the Anointing that will catapult you to the realm of exploits in your ministry, business, career and assignment is coming on you today, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: If the Anointing is on a tadpole, it can sink a shark.

OPEN HEAVEN 12 DECEMBER 2018 MEMORISE: Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:11

Open Heaven 12 December 2018 Read: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Open Heaven 12 December 2018 Message With Hymn And Prayer Points

Imagine that a family goes on vacation for a couple of month, locking up their entire house.

They eventually return home, only to meet workers and artisans going in and out of their house- some cleaning windows, some fixing electrical appliances and others painting the walls.

The family will be shocked because they did not instruct anyone to work in their house. What would you do if this happens to you? I assume you would immediately call the police to assist in getting these intruders out of your house.

Open Heaven 12 December 2018
The same thing needs to happen in the Church of God, as many workers there are intruders. This is the reason why the Lord said in Matthew 7:22-23:

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

In today’s Bible reading, the Holy Spirit reveals to us the character of those who will receive divine commendation, saying:

“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:”

To receive heaven’s commendation on the day of reckoning, you must be temperate in all things and run your course with certainty of purpose

Being temperate means being moderate and self-controlled, while to be certain is to be sure-minded and serious. In contrast to this, the attitude of “beating the air” is common place in our churches today.

We have people who teach on missions but who don’t go on missions. Some teach on evangelism but do not go out to evangelize. Others are orators who can get money from the stingiest of persons, but they themselves are not givers.

We need to be mindful of our ways so that we don’t end up being disappointed on theday of reckoning. Learn from Apostle Paul and apply the secret he reveals in 1 Corinthians 9:27 to your life:

“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

May you not miss your divine commendation at the end of your life in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heaven 12 December 2018 Prayer Point: Father, please open my eyes to areas of my life where I am not temperate or sure-minded in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heaven 12 December 2018 Hymn 5

I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS
1. I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.

2. The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.

3. Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though- none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.

4. My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.

5. Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
No turning back, no turning back.

DCLM Daily Manna Devotional 13 December 2018 – Shun Inordinate Ambition written by Pastor Kumuyi

TOPIC: Shun Inordinate Ambition

TEXT: MARK 9:30-37

KEY VERSE: “And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all”  – (Mark 9:35).

MESSAGE: It is truism that “pride goes before a fall”. The Christian life is filled with various paradoxes such as ‘the way up is down’, ‘the way to live is to die’, and ‘the way to receive is to give’. The uniform teaching of the word of God is against self-seeking, self-projection, self-exaltation, inordinate ambition and pride of life.

The projection of self in every endeavour describes what sin itself is: Selfishness In Nature. No doubt, God is interested in our progress, success, breakthrough and advancement. He says, “we shall be the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath”, that “whatsoever we do shall prosper”, and many more! However, our motives, modes and methods of actualising this are of great concern to God.

DCLM Daily Manna Devotional 13 December 2018 – Shun Inordinate Ambition

In the world today, people seek a place of prominence in the workplace and the neighbourhood. In several instances, they take steps that are ungodly to attain the desired position, thereby losing the presence and favour of God. This reminds us of a certain young man who coveted the position of his boss and felt that the boss had stayed too long there and must give way to him. He travelled to the village and mentioned it before his fetish father. His father promised to look into the case. Back in the place of work the following week, his boss just got to his office in the morning, slumped and died. His father called him and told him he had “finished” the work. What a world!

Bribing our way to success, cutting corners to reach the top and defying all Christian ethics including using undue influence popularly called “long leg”, run contrary to God’s word. His word, way and time are the best in achieving the desired best for our lives. DCLM Daily Manna Devotional 13 December 2018

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Making haste outside God’s plan attracts His displeasure.
