A photographer has captured women’s faces before, during and after their orgasms to ‘break down barriers’ around female sexuality.

Brazilian snapper Marcos Alberti said ‘The O Project’ was designed to open up conversations surrounding ‘female sexual well-being’.

He captured the facial expressions of more than 20 women before, during and after sexual climax while using a vibrator.

Run in collaboration with sexual well-being brand Smile Makers, each woman is seen through four photographs which unveil the the slow or, in some cases, rapid progression of their facial changes as they reach and recover from orgasm.

Women involved in the project span all ethnicities and nationalities including the US, France, China and Singapore.

Marcos Alberti commented: “I love that we were able to speak so frankly with these women about sex and pleasure.

“When you approach the taboo topic of sex through the lens of humor, people start to open up and share opinions more freely, which can lead to a monumental change in people’s mentality.’ Continue from source; Mirror
