Buhari, Nigerians don’t trust Buhari, they’re Afraid of him Murdering them – Fani-Kayode

FANI-KAYODE TO ADESINA: Nigerians don’t trust Buhari, they’re Afraid of him Murdering them.

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has faulted claims by the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari (Media and Publicity) Femi Adesina that the difference between Buhari and former President Goodluck Jonathan is that Nigerians trust Buhari unlike Jonathan.

For Fani-Kayode, Adesina is wrong. According to him, Nigerians are only afraid that Buhari will unleash military might and murder them should they rise against his policies.

Adesina had argued that “When petrol went to N145 under PMB, Nigerians held their peace, unlike when they shut the country in 2012. The difference is trust. Simple.”

Buhari’s spokesman was reacting to a statement credited to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on why Nigerians who protested against his administration’s move to increase the price of petrol from N67 to N97 kept mute when Buhari increased the same product to N145.

In response to Adesina’s claim, Fani-Kayode said on his twitter handle, “Femi Adesina says the difference between @MBuhari and @GEJonathan is one of trust. This is hogwash. Truth is that the people are not protesting in the streets against Buhari’s petrol pump price because they know that if they do he will send out his army to murder them in cold blood.”
