Its like World breaking, as all asunder expect to hear what happens in court today being Tuesday October 17, 2017. It is a big day in Nigeria where the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB is expected to appear before the court.
Well, it’s no new anymore that the IPOB leader went missing since September 14 Nigerian Army brutal invasion mission to his home in Umuahia, Abia. It has been really confused state since the disappearance of Kanu as parties demand his whereabouts.
Who produces Nnamdi Kanu in court to continue his case becomes headlines in many newspapers and in all the pages of blogs and news sites. Well, worry no more, October 17 is here and we will will be updating you what happens in court today whether or not Nnamdi Kanu, leader of IPOB will surely be appearing to continue his case.
8:30am – Vanguard reports that a member of the prosecuting team on Kanu’s case said the federal government is bent on proceeding with the court case with or without Kanu’s presence. The lawyer, who pleaded to be anonymous said it would not be the first time a person established to have absconded would be tried in absentia. The lawyer said: “It will not be the first time a defendant is tried in absentia. Take the case of a former Niger Delta militant, Mr Tompolo for instance. When he refused to make himself available, FG proceeded to try him in absentia.”
