It’s meant to be the British equivalent of the Academy Awards – in terms of both celebrity quota and style. But the 2017 BAFTAs fell short when it came to the latter on Sunday evening.
A host of female stars turned heads for all the wrong reasons as they navigated the red carpet at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the seventieth annual ceremony.
Sadly, ex-MTV host Edith Bowman led the way – opting for a rather bizarre choice which was both multi-coloured and floor-length, diving opinion online.
Some fans heralded her fashion choice, describing it as ‘stunning’, while others were left unimpressed by the shocking combination of paisley, floral print and peacock-feather effect.
