I am inspired and humbled by the Yenagoa City Football Academy, Lawrence Yabrifa jnr. speaks up

I am inspired and humbled by the Yenagoa City Football
Academy (YCFA) and indeed coach Ada Gwegwe the CEO of this academy for the
confidence placed on me as the director of media and communications of this
great organization. And i make a pledge to exude my duties to the best of my
abilities for the growth and development of this academy and what it stands
The Yenagoa city football academy as i am aware of, has a
rich history and dates back since 1994, when it was then “AG lions”
and it took the latter name in 2004. With the producing of about 90% of bayelsa
indigenous footballers playing in our own state professional teams, to junior
players for the national u-17, u-20, u-23 teams and the present super eagles,
to currently organizing the on-going Bayelsa kids cup, there is no gain saying
the academy is on the right track.
Finally, i am by this, calling on all well-meaning Bayelsans,
lovers of football, lovers of grassroot developments, companies, radio and TV
houses and individuals to come out and support this grass-root academy for it
all belongs to us.
Join us.
Lawrence Yabrifa jnr.
