Anthony Joshua has hit back at Amir Khan’s claims he was involved with Faryal Makhdoom – with a typically hilarious response.

The rival boxer, who Amir said had helped his wife Faryal ‘move on’, tweeted a clip from Shaggy’s 2000 hit song It Wasn’t Me.

The famous song contains the lyrics: “But she caught me on the counter/ It wasn’t me / Saw me banging on the sofa / It wasn’t me.”

Joshua followed that up by insisting he was completely innocent.

“Bantz aside, I hope you guys can resolve your situation or this is a hack as we have never even met!

He added: “Plus I like my women BBW.”

Earlier this afternoon, Amir named Anthony in a tweet accusing Faryal of cheating.

Love Island star Montana Brown hits out at Olivia Attwood with sly tweet

“Faryal moved on quick. Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people another boxer,” he said, copying in Anthony’s Twitter handle.

Incredibly, Faryal has already ‘liked’ Anthony’s Shaggy clip just minutes after he tweeted it.

The explosive claims sent by Amir’s Twitter account come just days after he and Faryal celebrated her birthday in Dubai.
