Tuesday June 6 in Lagos, Nigeria La Liga sealed a partnership deal with a Nigerian firm, Legacy Sports, as part of their efforts to bring the world’s foremost football league closer to Nigerian fans.
President, Legacy Sports, Philip Dawin, said, “Legacy Sports has taken the full rights of La Liga, so we own the marketing rights of the league, we also own an academy, which would be partners with La Liga, as well as event planning. In marketing division, we are catering for clients in Nigeria, helping them to push the La Liga brand.”
Former Nigeria midfielder, Mutiu Adepoju, who is the Country Manager, La Liga, Nigeria, said the new deal is one amongst several innovations by the Spanish topflight league.
Meanwhile Real Madrid Defender, Pepe has decided to leave the club.
