Topic – Touch A Life; Make A Difference
Wednesday March 8, 2017
A story was told of a man who went to a beach after a flood. The effect of the flood had made many fishes to be swept to the shore. When he saw how many fishes were struggling to breathe, he was moved with compassion so he decided to pick the fishes one after the other and throw them back into the water. In the midst of this, someone said to him, “How long would it take you to put all these fishes back into the water? What difference do you think you are making?” The man said, “I may not make a difference on all the fishes but to every fish that enters the water, I have made a difference in that one’s life.”
Beloved, you need to come to a point where someone who has lost joy, favour, direction or health gets it back because of their encounter with you. You may not be able to change a whole country but you can change a person or a family. You may not be able to impact the whole world but you can impact a corner of it. So, start from where you are.
Remember this: You may not be able to impact the whole world but you can impact a corner.
1. Determine to make a difference in someone’s life every day.
2. Make demands on the love of God to saturate your heart.
3. Refuse to watch someone’s situation deteriorate around you; look for a way of making positive changes.
