Gambia’s toppled president stole £9million from the tiny African state before fleeing into exile, it was claimed today.

Long-time leader Yahya Jammeh allegedly helped himself to £9million in the last fortnight alone while two Rolls-Royces and a Bentley were flown out at the weekend.
