A young woman was left horrified after she was added to an X-rated Facebook group chat about her by her own university class-mates.
Eleanor Henry, 22, has vowed to “die a feminist ” after fellow law students in Melbourne, Australia, branded her “a bike” and described how they would throw her on a bed.
Disgusted Eleanor shared the post on the social media website, fuming: “Let’s all wave hello to my fellow peers at Melbourne University.
“This is why I’ll die a feminist. It’s 2016. Let’s get back to that conversation on equality.”
She said she was left feeling “dirty, embarrassed and so, so offended” and demanded that the sickening abuse was not dismissed as simply “boys being boys”.
Brave Eleanor made the posts – which included tips on how to bed her – public in an effort to show how women still suffer sexism and are objectified by men.
The scandal has sparked a wave of anger from people across the globe, with critics branding the young men’s comments “repulsive”.
One of the men asked what he should say to chat her up, and was egged on by another, who advised him to say: “Show me where u p*** from. Works 9/10 times.”
Eleanor replied to the man: “It IS WRONG.”
