RIVERS STATE, Gov. Nyesom Wike has announced that his administration is kicking off a monthly revival session with the Deeper Life Christian Ministry.
According to Leadership, Wike says the monthly prayer session is state “for the spiritual upliftment of the state and her people”.
He said, “No man can provide security, other than God. Only God can move this state forward. We have worked hard and we seek God’s grace to consolidate our efforts.” He made this declaration as he explained that Rivers turned down Super Eagles’ African Cup of Nations (AFCON) match Tanzanian on Saturday, September 3 because the state required the blessing from the Double Portion crusade of the Deeper Life Christian Ministry.
Wike said the monthly crusade is needed for General Superintendent of Deeper Life, Pastor William Kumuyi and the leaders of the church to intercede on behalf of Rivers State while he also described the programme as the state’s own spiritual investment.
