Exclusive Reports reaching us indicates that the Bayelsa based football ball jugular Tonye Solomon Aka Deboy will giving his dreams and aspirations a nod tomorrow 11th, August, 2016 in a bid to rewrite the history books as regards “The Greatest Distance Travelled With the Football Balanced On The head”.

Whose current holder is also a Nigerian Chinedu Harrison who ply his footballing trade in Cambodia, after dethroning the former champion Indian soldier Naib Singh when he walked a distance of 48.04km in six hours,15 minutes to upset Naib Singhs records.

The Indian soldier had beaten the world record earlier set by 42 year old Bangladesh’s footballer Abdul Halim, who travelled for just 15.2 Km with a ball on his head on 22nd October , 2011.

Tonye Solomon is expected to start his journey from Amassoma town en-route Tombia town, Agudama-epie with the finish line at peace Park, Yenagoa, Bayalsa State.

Tonye Solomon is expected to travel a  distance of  about 52km with the ball on his head. It would be recalled that his first official attempt was unfortunately unsuccessful due to weather conditions after covering a distance of 38 kilometers. Even though he was able to break the world record on his first earlier this year in yenagoa Bayelsa State.

He stated “I wish to thank everyone out there for their prayers, supports and words of encouragement I promise to make you all  proud and  also I intend to  size to opportunity to announce to the world Niger Delta Youths are gifted  can as while compete with our peers in Nigeria the world at large, thank you & God bless you all”.
